The Epson Perfection V600 is a flatbed photo scanning that is designed to deliver impressive scanning quality from almost any photographic original, including documents, photographs, slides, negatives or medium-format film. Providing up to 6,400 dpi resolution and featuring a 3.4 Dmax optical resolution, the V600 has the ability to scan media from 35mm filmstrips up to 6 x 22cm medium format films. Employing Epson's Digital ICE technologies for Film and for Prints, which combine hardware and software to detect and remove the appearance of many surface defects from scanned image, scanning with V600 means your image's composition and quality are left intact while costly retouching is minimised; Easy Photo FIx restores faded colour photos, slides and negatives back to their original brilliance - simply scan and click! This handy restoration tool also includes Grain Reduction and Backlight Correction. If you want to take your digital images further, the included ArcSoft^®PhotoStudio^® provides the tools to edit and enhance your digital images.

Featuring Epson's superior Matrix CCD Micro Lens Technology, Perfection V600 utilises Epson's ReadyScan LED technology to support high productivity by minimising warm-up time. This energy efficient technology utilises low power consumption and enable fast scanning in as little as 6 seconds. The versatile V600 includes the ABBYY^®FineReader^® Sprint Plus OCR for converting scanned documents into editable text. A Transparency Unit is built into the lid to permit scanning of transparent materials while four customisable buttoms enable users to create the desired workflow to instantly scan, copy, scan-to-email, and create PDFs.

Besides the built-in transparency unit, the Epson Perfection V600 Photo colour scanner comes supplied with Film Holders for 35mm film, mounted slides, and 6 x 22 cm medium-format film, a Scanner software CD-Rom, a Start Here poster, a Hi-Speed 2.0 cable, an AC adapter, and a power cable.
