Wireless File Transmitter for EOS R5
The Canon WFT-R10E Wireless File Transmitter for EOS R5 combines an integrated battery grip with robust connectivity in its design, extending power as well as doubling as a network workflow asset for the Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera. Via wired or wireless LAN connections with FTP, FTPS, and SFTP support, the transmitter/grip enables custom networking solutions for secure sharing and transferring of image files. Additionally, the EOS Utility software, which provides options for Live View remote shooting and image transfer, works well with the Network Setting Tool, which permits export and import of setting files (NIF), LAN setup, and the ability to check access to the FTP server and the ability to check access to the FTP and create folders, to enable a variety of wireless configurations. This includes enhanced support for linked multi-camera shooting and wirelessly synced applications: via wireless LAN, one camera can be connected with up to ten receiver cameras, all equipped with the WFT-R10E themselves), for remote multi-camera shooting or to sync time of all the cameras.
The grip function of the WFT-R10E accepts up to two LP-E6/LP-E6N/LP-E6NH batteries, thus providing effectively double the battery life for those longer shoots. A set of vertical controls and dials, along with a shutter release and multicontroller, eases operation while shooting in portrait orientation. Its dust- and moisture-resistant matches the EOS R5 camera's own weather resistance.
The Canon WFT-R10E comes supplied with a connector cover and a case.
