M11 (Silver)
Digital Rangerfinder Camera Body
The Leica continues to strive to bring you the best of both worlds of traditional rangefinder photography and the latest camera technology with the M11 Digital Rangefinder, which is designed and made in Germany. An exclusive new image sensor, an expanded ISO range, dual memory options, extended battery life and a streamlined and intuitive menu systems combine to deliver the maximum flexibility and power to users.
The M11 is characterised by its full frame BSI CMOS colour sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, which is capable of recording 60MP, 36MP, and 18MP raw image files in DNG and JPEG format. The full sensor is utilised when recording these images, thus affording incredible file output and impressive image quality when used with M-lenses. Shooting with the 60 MP options delivers unparalleled image quality and high resolution; shooting with the lower resolutions permits faster camera performance, extended burst lengths, and smaller files for storage.
The Leica M11 features a native ISO of 64 to 50,000, up to 15 stops of dynamic range, and a 14-bit colour depth. For adaptive and responsive operation at even the highest resolution and image quality settings, the M11 employs a Maestro III processor to process images at high speed. Thanks to an optional electronic shutter that features a shutter speed of up to 1/16,000 of a second and long exposures up to 1 hr, photographers can work even more creatively in more extreme lighting conditions. Additionally, multi-field metering in rangefinder mode is possible, affording users the capability to shoot in dynamic lighting conditions. The incorporation of Live View digital stabilisation permits smooth and accurate manual focusing when using Live View while two Digital Zooms at 1.3x and 1.8x provide for fast cropping of DNG and JPG files.
Built and designed to cater for longer shooting session on each charge, the M11 uses a 1800mAh battery that stores 64% more power to run its more power-efficient system. A newly added universal USB-C port enables the on-the-go battery charging using most USB-chargers, as well as efficient data transfer. UHS-II SD card compatibility and 3GB buffer support fast image storage. The M11 features a new 2.3 MP touch screen display that features up to 800 nits of brightness to ensure comfortable viewing even while working in harsher lighting conditions. Photographers can customise their shooting process with the three available customisable function buttons to gain quick access to almost any menu setting in the camera.
