Change the colour of the world around you using this magnetic IR720 filter.

Considered a standard Infrared filter, 720 is the true classic infrared filter. This filter allows for some visible light, to allow false colour, and good contrast in black and white photos.

When to use this filter: This filter is best in shooting mild colour, and black and white infrared photos. Producing the traditional dark blue skies and can be processed for colour. While allowing for mid contrast when shooting black and white.

Shooting on bright, sunshiny days will yield the best results with this filter. This is when the suns infrared light is strongest.

Please note, some camera and lens combinations can cause ghosting and flares when using this filter. Or, can only be used as Black and White. Most modern cameras (Mirrorless and DSLR) now have IR blocking filters and reduce sensitivity to infrared light. A good way to test this is to point your TV remote in to your lens. If you see a red light, it’s more sensitive. The higher the sensitivity, the better the results, the lower the exposure required to capture infrared light.

Please note :

This magnetic filter cannot be used alone. It needs to be used with a 82mm Magnetic Fixed Ring / Magnetic Step Down Ring to attach the magnetic filters onto the lens. If your lens is a different size thread, you may purchase 82-67mm / 82-77mm Magnetic Step Down Rings to suit other sizes of lens.
