This white Bowens 21" Beauty Dish Reflector has an effect somewhere between a softbox, umbrella and polished metal reflector that renders a soft but crisp light with snappy contrast and a textural quality that flatters makeup on models and accentuates character in portrait subjects. The built-in deflector bounces the flash's direct output backwards, filling the shallow dish and casting a wide beam of soft light forward. If you'd like it softer still, Bowens has included a "shower cap" type fabric diffuser that slips over the front of the reflector. The Beauty Dish's S-Mount is compatible with several other brands such as Interfit, Priolite and Westcott.
