Canon EF - X1D Mount Adapter
Adapter for Canon EF Mount Lens to Hasselblad X1D Camera
The Kipon EF-X1D mount adapter is designed for use with the Hasselblad X1D camera, allowing Canon E mount lenses to be mounted onto the Hasselblad X1D camera body. With the adapter in place the lens will fit physically, and the lens can be used in manual mode. After the adapter is mounted the adapter can be used to adjust the lens aperture. Please note autofocusing and other functions will not be operational.
To adjust the aperture, after powering on the adapter, the iris will be set to the biggest size. Simply roll the thumb wheel until the preset f-number followed by the character "P" displays on the LED screen. To select, press the thumb wheel and the iris will go to the preset value. Press the thumb button again and the iris will go back to the biggest size. A third press of the thumb button will return the iris to the set f-number. This provides a fast and easy way to switch between the set f-number and the biggest size.
The LED will also show a green run light or red charging light when charging. If no lens is mounted the LED will blink 1 second on and 3 seconds off. If a lens is mounted, the LED will blink 1 second on and 1 second off. It is not in use afer 1 minute it will automatically enter sleep mode, and a simple press of the thumb button will resume the system.
