Hero Session
Action Video Camera
The Hero Session from GoPro is a compact, waterproof action camera that weighs just 74g, ideal for first-time GoPro users or anyone looking for a compact or secondary camera. It is capable of recording 1080p video up to 60 fps, 720p video up to 100 fps, and 8MP stills in burst up to 10 fps.
The Session features a single button to turn on the camera and start recording. A second press of the button stops recording and powers off the camera. When tethered with a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth-enabled device or the Smart Remote from GoPro (sold separately) it is possible to control additional settings such as Ultra Wide and Medium field of view, select a preferred video resolution and frame rate, enable one of the still photo modes, and more.
Equipped with two microphones (one on the front of the camera and one on the back), the Hero Session will automatically switch to the mic that's best-suited for capturing audio. It is also waterproof to depths of 10m without requiring a separate housing.
With the included Standard Frame, the Hero Session can be attached to any three-prong, thumbscrew GoPro mount. To get you started, the camera comes with one Curved and one Flat adhesive mount for semi-permanent attachment to boards, helmets, and other non-porous surfaces, along with a quick-release mounting buckle to attach to the adhesive mounts and other separately-available mounts that have a quick-release base. The camera is powered from a built-in internal battery lasting up to two hours, which is recharged using an included micro-USB cable.
