Wide Angle Manual Focus Lens

Purpose built for Nikon Z-mount, the ultra-wide Samyang 14mm f/2.8 manual focus prime lens is ideal for a variety of landscape applications. The optical design features 14 elements in 10 groups, including a series of sophistically laid out aspherical, low dispersion and high refractive elements, which provides for reduction in aberrations, distortions and colour fringing that results in images of increased sharpness, clarity and colour accuracy. A combination of Ultra Multi-Coating and built-in petal-shaped lens hood reduces flare and ghosting to improve contrast and colour neutrality when working in harsh lighting conditions. Furthermore, the metallic body is weather sealed for working in challenging weather conditions. Even close up photogrpahy is provided for with the manual focus design with a minimun focus distance of 28cm. The lens also features rear filter holder to accomodate separately available cut gel filters.
