The Nikon FM2 is an interchangeable lens 35mm SLR with full manual operation and mechanical control. The FM2 can operate without batteries and it accepts all Nikon F-mount lenses that support the Automatic Indexing (AI). Its mechanical shutter feaures a 1/4,000 second top shutter speed and a top flash sync speed of 1/250 second. The motor drive MD-12 accessory supports continuous shooting of up to 3.2 fps. The strong and durable copper-aluminium-silicon alloy FM2 has three interchangeable finder screens. This semi-professional manual SLR also includes other features: a depth of field preview lever, self-timer, threaded PC sync socket, multiple exposure capability, and a prism-mounted hot shoe.
