The D600 is Nikon's entry in the affordable full-frame category. A 24.3MP Full-frame CMOS Sensor captures an incredible amount of detail, and delivers excellent dynamic range and low-light performance. The 39 point autofocus array provides quick focusing, and is paired with a sophisticated RGB metering sensor for 3d continuous subject tracking.
In spite of the large images the D600 produces, it is still a quick camera, and can shoot at a maximum rate of 5.5 frames per second for up to 30 frames in a single JPEG burst.
The D600 features a solid, easy to grip body that is nevertheless lighter and more compact than other full-frame DSLRs. Its ergonomics are designed for quick and intuitive operation, with all the major controls having dedicated physical buttons or dials. The viewfinder is a large, bright pentaprism with 100% coverage which makes framing a pleasure. And, when you need to frame an image from an odd angle, using Live View makes that easy, too.
For video shooters, the D600 offers full HD video recording at up to 30 frames per second, or 720p at 60 frames per second. One of the big advantages of using a full-frame body for recording movies is that when it's paired with an appropriate full-frame lens, the camera produces beautiful, cinematic-quality bokeh and background blur.
Altogether, the D600 provides all the advantages of a full-frame sensor in body that is compact and lightweight, making it perfect for photographers on the go.
