The dark red C Digital Camera from Leica is a stylish high performing compact camera, with a 1/1.7" 12.1MP MOS sensor and Leica DC-Vario-Summicron lens. The lens is a 7x optical zoom with a 35mm format equivalency of 28-200mm, and an additional 4x digital zoom is supported for extra reach. With optical image stabilisation and an aperture of f/2 at the wide-angle end, the Leica C is capable of working in low-light conditions, and its easy-to-use interface makes operation simple.

It features fast autofocus, 10fps continuous shooting, and manual exposure control. It is also possible to record Full HD 1080 video in both the AVCHD and MP4 formats. Use the 3" TFT Colour LCD monitor for composition and playback viewing with 921k-dot resolution or for stable, eye-level composition, use the electronic viewfinder with 200k-dot resolution and +/-4 diopter adjustment. A programmable focusing ring enables fast and intuitive control of various camera settings including manual focus.

The Leica C is the first Leica to feature built-in Wi-Fi and an NFC (Near Field Communication) module for easy connectivity. With the free Leica C Image Shuttle app you can use the Wi-Fi connection to instantly download images to your smartphone or tablet and then share them on social media sites. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection and app allow you to use your smart device as a remote control for the camera, adjusting aperture, shutter speed, zoom, focus, video and several other functions, including shutter release.
