The 35-100mm f/2.8 II Lumix GX Vario POWER O.I.S. from Panasonic is a telephoto zoom lens designed for use with Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. It offers a versatile 70-200mm equivalent focal length range, and combines this with a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture to suit working in low lighting conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques.

Optically the lens features a pair of extra-low dispersion elements and one Ultra extra-low dispersion element to reduce fringing and chromatic aberrations, and a Nano Surface Coating has been applied to control ghosting and flare for improved contrast and accurate colour. A rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces attractive out of focus 'bokeh' areas.

The lens also features a POWER Optical Image Stabiliser which is compatible with Dual I.S., and works to minimise the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. This is complimented by a linear autofocus motor that provides fast, quiet, and accurate autofocus. Finally, the lens is finished with a dust, splash, and freezeproof physical design for total piece of mind when working in difficult conditions.
