D5600 + AF-P 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 VR DX +
AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 VR ED
Versatile Cropped DSLR Camera & Dual Zoom Lenses Kit
Here, the Nikon D5600 is kitted with two zoom lenses--the AF-P Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR DX and the AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G VR ED--for a versatile range of photography applications.
The black Nikon D5600 DSLR is a compact and versatile camera featuring a DX-format 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 image processor. Together they offer high-resolution capture, continuous 5 fps shooting, low-light sensitivity to an expandable ISO 25600, and HD 1080p video recording. Added to this is an improved touchscreen LCD monitor for ease of operation, SnapBridge (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth + NFC), as well as a new time-lapse feature. The sensor design removes the traditional optical low-pass filter for optimum sharpness and resolution, and a 39-point autofocus system provides quick and accurate focusing capabilities. For added illumination use the built-in pop-up flash or connect an optional external flash via the hot shoe for even greater lighting control.
Full HD 1920 x 1080p movie recording is supported in multiple frame rates up to 60 fps, in the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format. During recording, full-time autofocus is available, with face-detection and subject-tracking capabilities, for ensured sharpness with a wide variety of subject types. A built-in stereo microphone can be used to record high-quality sound or, alternatively, a microphone input is integrated into the body design to support the use of an external microphone for enhanced quality and control. In-camera time-lapses are also offered with an auto exposure smoothing feature to make transitions in exposure due to changes in lighting appear less sudden.
For live view monitoring, image playback and menu navigation, a large 3.2" 1,037k-dot touchscreen vari-angle LCD monitor is available and makes it possible to shoot from nearly any angle including selfies. A variety of touchscreen functions allow you to pinch to zoom, navigate menus, choose settings, and choose your focus point. Newly added functions will also allow you to enable and disable auto ISO via the touch Fn button, crop during playback zoom, and a frame advance bar lets you scroll through images in playback mode easily. Alternatively, a bright pentamirror optical viewfinder provides precise eye-level viewing and real-time monitoring.
Also enhancing the viewing and shooting abilities of the D5600, SnapBridge support offers a constant connection of the D5600 to a smart device. With a one-time setup you can use your linked device for automatic transfer of photos and automatic upload to Nikon's photo sharing service, NIKON IMAGE SPACE. With Wi-Fi enabled, it also possible to remotely control the camera from a linked Android or iOS mobile device.
Included with the D5600 camera body is the AF-P NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR DX Lens; a general-purpose DX format zoom lens featuring a zoom range of 18-55mm, equivalent to 27-82.5mm with a 35mm format, which makes it useful in a wide variety of shooting conditions. A pair of aspherical elements and a Super Integrated Coating work together to reduce ghosting and flare for a crisp, high contrast image throughout the frame.
Also included in the kit is the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR from Nikon, a telephoto zoom designed for DX-format DSLRs, where it will offer an impressive focal length range of 105-450mm. With a rounded 7-blade diaphragm, out of focus areas feature attractive smooth bokeh. The optical design uses one extra-low dispersion element alongside Super Integrated Coating to capture sharp images with true colour and minimal flare and ghosting.
Both these AF-P lenses use a pulse stepping motor autofocusing(AF) system for smooth, silent focusing. This lens series removes switches from the lens barrel to avoid accidentally changing your settings; changes can instead be made via the camera menu. Nikon's Vibration Reduction image stabilisation are incorporated into the two lenses to reduce the appearance of camera shake for up to four stops, particularly useful when shooting handheld at longer focal lengths and when working in low-light conditions.
