GFX 50S II
Medium Format Camera Body
The Fujifilm GFX 50S II is a compact and portable medium format mirrroless camera that offers a mix of flexibility and accessibility. Thanks to the pairing of a 51.4MP CMOS sensor and an improved X-Processor 4 image processor, this camera offers an impressive dynamic range and high resolution 14-bit stills, continuous shooting of up to 3fps, as well as an extended sensitivity range of ISO 50-102400 that benefits working in difficult lighting conditions. In addition, the large sensor affords more efficient light gathering that produces smoother tonal and colour transitions characteristic of a three-dimensional "medium format look".
This mark II version benefits from an in-body image stabilisation system, which not only support hand-held shooting but can provide up to a 6.5 stops of five-axis stabilisation that broaden image possibilities such as working more freely with slow shutter speed. A 117-point autofocus system and an improved autofocusing algorithim compliment the updated image processor to enable sharp responses when tracking subjects or detecting face and eye. The availability of Film Stimulation modes affords the reproduction of the look and feel of 19 Fujifilm's film types while the adjustable Grain Effect and Classic Chrome effect permits finetuning of the look of the imagery.
A 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder can be used for high resolution eye-level viewing while a rear 3.2" 2.36m-dot touchscreen LCD with a three-way tilting design supports working from high and low angles and offers intuitive menu navigation, easy image playback, and live view shooting. Constructed with magnesium alloy, the 50S II is both lightweight and durable. It is also dust- and weather-sealed and freeze-proof down to -10°C for working in inclement weather conditions. Built-in Wi-Fi permits direct wirelss sharing of files and remote camera control from a linked mobile device while dual SD memory card slots permits image storage flexibility. Tethered shooting is also possible via the use of X-Acquire software which helps send images from the camera to a hot folder on your computer for further editing or, alternatively, via the use of Tether Shooting Plug-in PRO for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and HS-V5 for Windows operating systems. Its Fujifilm G lens mount with a short focal flange distance better prevent vignetting and promote edge to edge sharpness with the GF series of lenses.
The GFX 50S II comes supplied with a lithium-ion battery, body cap, power adapter, plug adapter, USB cable, shoulder strap, and hot shoe cover.
