The Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH. lens from Leica is an adapted re-introduction of the iconic 1966 M-mount lens that is ideal for your everyday use. Combining modern design with production advances, this normal length lens achieves a unique aesthetic quality for contemporary photographers. Its extremely fast f/1.2 maximum aperture offers notable selective control over depth of field, allowing you to isolate your subject matter. It also benefits working handheld in low-light conditions. Images captured at an open aperture feature a soft, dreamlike quality. Optically, this lens is almost identical to the original lens, featuring an six-elements-in-four-group optical design, which comprises of two large diameter aspherical elements to improve clarity and reduce distortion. This rugged lens comes supplied with metal front and rear caps, metal lens hood, and a transparant plastic lens container.
