Delivering unparalleled rendering power in a compact, lightweight design, the 85mm f/1.2 DG Art Lens from Sigma is the ideal tool for photographers requiring both optical performance and portability. Pairing its classic 85mm focal length with an ultrafast f/1.2 maximum aperture, the lens delivers impressive background separation and beautiful bokeh without sacrificing subject detail. Incorporating aspherical and SLD lens elements into a complex, compact optical design, the 85mm f/1.2 DG Art Lens enables enhanced agility on set. Its splash and dust resistance ensure dependability in challenging environments, while its myriad of physical controls provide comprehensive operability at your fingertips.

Uncompromising Optics

  • Classic 85mm medium-telephoto focal length provides the ideal field-of-view for portrait photography
  • Ultrafast f/1.2 maximum aperture ensures exceptional subject separation and low-light performance
  • 13-blade rounded diaphragm design delivers beautiful, near-circular bokeh, even when stopped down
  • Dual HLA-driven focus motor provides rapid, smooth autofocus during photo and video capture
  • Two SLD (special low dispersion) and three aspherical elements minimize chromatic and spherical aberration
  • Complex 17-element, 12-group optical design is optimized to suppress focus breathing

Advanced Design

  • Dust- and splash-resistant body construction with water- and oil-repellent front lens surface
  • Smallest (3.4 x 4.7") and lightest (2 lb) build in the 85mm f/1.2 class of lenses
  • Manual aperture control ring with automatic setting and convenient ring-lock button
  • Physical AF/MF and aperture click/de-click switches for intuitive controls
  • 82mm front filter thread for the straightforward mounting of desired filters
