A high-speed prime that provides excellent image quality, the Summicron-M 50mm f/2 from Leica is a versatile manual focus normal-length lens. Its fast f/2 maximum aperture makes it well-suited to working in low-light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques. The manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 70cm away with a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:11.5.
The six elements, four groups optical design ensures consistently bright and sharp images, and helps to virtually eliminate distortion. This is complimented by a compact design that includes a built-in expandable lens hood to prevent lens flare and ghosting.
The Leica Summicron-M 50mm f/2 Lens comes with a Lens Cap, Rear Lens Cap and Leather Lens Case.
