The black Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens from Leica is a standard manual focus wide-angle prime lens with a versatile focal length and bright maximum aperture to help you create stunning imagery. With seven elements in five groups, including a single aspherical element, nearly all distortions and spherical aberrations are eliminated to produce a high degree of sharpness, contrast, and clarity. This is complimented by an 11-blade aperture which contributes to smooth out-of-focus areas when working with selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.

Designed to be a capable everyday lens for M shooters, it is physically compact, making it an easy addition to your kit. It features an updated all-metal rectangular threaded lens hood, which attaches to the lens via a front thread mount, as well as a threaded protection ring for the front of the lens, for use when the lens hood is not attached. Metal lens caps are also included.
