The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 lens is designed to provide full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with a versatile wide to portrait length zoom range and a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture that affords consistent illumination throughout the zoom range and provides greater depth of field control. Its minimum focusing distance of 18cm at the wide-angle end and a 1:2.7 maximum magnification enable shooting subjects close-up. Designed with a VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor unit, this zoom lens delivers impressively quiet, fast, and precise autofocus performance that benefits stills and video applications. The lens features an updated ergonomic design for improved operability, with a new connector port for streamlining the process of working with Tamron Lens Utllity software to adjust lens settings and updating firmware.
