The Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD lens is designed to provide full-frame Sony E-mount cameras with a popular short to long telephoto zoom range. Weighing at just 545g, the compact and versatile lens is handy as well as well-suited in a wide variety of photography situations. Optically, a 15-elements-in-10-groups design employs a LD (low dispersion) element to correct aberration. Designed with Tamrons RXD stepping motor unit, this zoom lens delivers quiet, fast, and precise autofocus performance that is compatible with Sony s Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF in enabled cameras as well as direct manual focus. Furthermore, it is also compatible with in-camera shading, chromatic aberration, and distortion lens correction function. With a rounded seven-blade diaphragm, the lens offers a pleasing bokeh quality. The lenss high-strength aluminium-magnesium alloy construction pairs up with its moisture-resistant construction to benefit operation in inclement weather conditions. Front and rear lens caps, and a lens hood are supplied with this lens.
