The Mamiya RB67 Pro SD represents the pinnacle of Mamiya’s legendary RB67 system—a fully mechanical, modular 6×7 medium format SLR built for professional photographers who demand reliability, precision, and image quality. This final version of the RB67 improves upon its predecessors (the Pro and Pro S) with a stronger body design, updated lens mount, and compatibility with both KL-series lenses and Pro SD film backs.

This kit includes the Mamiya KL 127mm f/3.5, a multi-coated standard lens known for excellent sharpness and contrast, paired with a Seiko leaf shutter capable of 1–1/400s speeds and flash sync at all settings. The waist-level finder offers a bright, magnified ground glass viewing experience, ideal for careful composition, and the Pro SD 120 film back supports 6×7 format negatives, with improved construction and light-sealing over earlier backs.

Compared to the later RZ67 series, the RB67 Pro SD maintains full mechanical operation—no batteries required—making it a preferred tool for photographers working in studio, field, or remote locations. While the RZ67 introduced electronic shutters and auto-exposure features, the RB67 Pro SD remains a favorite for those who value simplicity, durability, and full manual control.
