The NiSi 82mm Circular Black Mist 1/4 is a circular filter that can be used to reduce highlights and lower contrast to achieve a balanced tonal range among highlights and shadows while maintaining resolution. The Black Mist creates a cinematic look and is apt for softening wrinkles and blemishes. It also softly diffuses backlit light, creating a transparent light that mimics the light captured with a high-class old lens. The filter is constructed with durable high-quality brass frame and optical glass coated with NiSis Nano coating on each glass surface to improve beading effect when in contact with water for easier cleaning.
