The Protective Cap MK-III from Elinchrom is a replacement protective cap for Einchrom ELB 1200 Heads, ELC Pro HD 500 and 1000, and Zoom Heads (Pro, Pro HD, Action), when used in conjunction with the Elinchrom Glass Dome Transparent Short (29340). This cap is designed to protect your strobe heads when not in use, and a bayonet fitting keeps the cap secured on the head in place of a reflector. The shorter design allows you to pack your heads into smaller cases, and is made from a thicker plastic than the standard protective head cap. Additionally, the embossed Elinchrom logo acts as a safety measure which can be seen clearly in case the modelling light is turned on.
