The 10x30 IS II Image Stablised Binocular from Canon features an IS system adapted from the lens systems to compensate for hand-shake, making them an ideal choice for nature-watching and sporting events. Utilising Vari-Angle prisms placed between the front lens and the main prism, when the internal gyro sensors detect vertical or horizontal movement they direct the prisms to compensate and correct for the shake. A microcomputer enhances IS operation, aids shorter startup times, and enables more efficient energy consumption. Optically this binocular features Canons anti-reflection Super Spectra multicoatings to reduce light loss and improve image contrast. A Porro prism optical path provides a rich depth of field to enable users to better judge distance between objects, and a long 14.5mm eye relief makes these binoculars comfortable when used for extended periods of time. A doublet field-flattener corrects spherical aberration for distortion-free views, especially at the edges, and a wide angle 60° apparent angle of view delivers a truly immersive viewing experience. The 10x30 IS II runs on two included, and readily available, AA batteries that will provide power for up to nine hours.
