Designed to heighten the action of the shutter, a soft release button will offer you greater control at slower shutter speeds and improve the ergonomics. Ivorywood, commonly known as Pink Ivory, is a wood native to Southern Africa and is one of the rarest and most beautiful woods in the world. It is a very hard wood, strong and stiff, with a fine texture. Its natural, subtle, pink tone will deepen with age, integrating colours ranging from soft yellows to rich, reddish browns.
