The GF 30mm f/2.8 R WR lens offers a versatile wide-angle perspective, equivalent to a 24mm lens for the G-mount GFX camera system. With broad field of view and a modest f/3.5 maximum aperture, this lens is suitable for working with a variety of subjects in available lighting conditions and using shallow depth of field techniques. The optical design incorporates two aspherical elements and two extra-low dispersion elements to reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness, clarity, and colour fidelity. A compact focusing group within the optical design promotes faster and more responsive autofocus performance.
Weather and dust resistant, the lens can be used in inclement weather and temperatures as low as -10°C. The GF 30mm R WR lens incorporates a physical aperture ring for intuitive adjustment over exposure settings, while a C (Command) position enables camera-based aperture setting. A front lens cap, a rear lens cap, a lens hood, and a lens pouch are supplied together with the lens.
