Tamron

15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD

Wide angle lens for Nikon

The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon F mount is a fast wide-angle zoom lens with VC (Vibration Compensation).  Combined with a maximum apterture of f/2.8 it works well when photographing in low-light, minimizing the appearance of hand-held camera shake, and offering shallow depth of field for selective focus. A rounded 9-blade diaphragm makes for pleasing out-of-focus areas. XGM and LD glass elements, as well as eBAND and BBAR coatings, work to reduce chromatic aberrations, ghosting and flare, for crisp images and accurate colours.  Additionally a fluorine coating on the front element helps repel water and dust.

With a USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) autofocus motor, it is fast and near-silent, while a full-time manual focus mechanism enables manual focusing at any point, even when the AF system is engaged.
