Covering a range of useful focal lengths, the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR Lens from Nikon is designed for full-frame Nikon FX-format cameras, and is also compatible with Nikon's cropped DX-format cameras where it will offer a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 105-300mm. It features a constant maximum f/4 aperture for consistency throughout the zoom range and Vibration Reduction technology to provide 4 stops of shake compensation for sharper handheld shooting.
The optical design uses three Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements to minimise chromatic aberration and Nano Crystal and Super Integrated multi-layer Coatings work to prevent internal lens reflections, ghosting, and flare. A rounded 9-blade circular aperture creates smooth out-of-focus areas.
Nikon's exclusive Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures quick, accurate and quiet autofocus and seamless manual focus override gives you precise focus control even in AF mode, simply by turning the focusing ring. An Internal Focus design means the length of the lens remains constant as you focus so you can remain at the same working distance throughout the focus range.
The AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR Lens comes with a snap-on lens cap, rear lens cap, HB-60 bayonet lens hood and semi-soft case.
