The AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR from Nikon is a telephoto zoom designed for DX-format DSLRs, where it will offer an impressive focal length range of 105-450mm. With a rounded 7-blade diaphragm, out of focus areas feature attractive smooth bokeh.

The optical design uses one extra-low dispersion element alongside Super Integrated Coating to capture sharp images with true colour and minimal flare and ghosting. This is complimented by Nikon's Vibration Reduction image stabilisation to compensate for up to 4 shutter speed stops, particularly useful when shooting handheld at longer focal lengths and when working in low-light conditions.

The AF-P series of lenses uses a pulse stepping motor AF system for smooth, silent focusing, and this series removes switches from the lens barrel to avoid accidentally changing your settings. Changes can instead be made via the camera menu.
