The AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens from Nikon is a versatile telephoto zoom lens with a constant maximum aperture of f/5.6. It uses three extra-low dispersion glass elements to control distortions and chromatic aberrations and the lens elements feature a Super Integrated Coating to manage flare and ghosting.
A Silent Wave Motor AF system offers fast, near-silent focusing for both stills and movie recording, and can be manually overridden using the manual focus ring. VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilisation compensates for the effects of camera shake by up to 4.5 shutter speed stops, and an electromagnetic aperture mechanism is integrated into the lens design to provide greater exposure control stability that is especially beneficial when working with faster continuous shooting rates.
