Compact Waterproof Binocular
The Leica 10x25 Ultravid Blackline is a compact and lightweight binocular with elegant black leather details and trim. Inspired by the Trinovid series, it features high-quality optics provide great resolving power in a small size, making them a versatile choice for use in a variety of situations. They use Leica’s High Durability Coating (HDC), a scratch and abrasion-resistant and transmission enhancing multi-coating, guaranteeing superior light transmission and true colour. This is combined with roof prisms that feature phase-correction and the proprietary High Lux System (HLS) coatings. These coatings virtually eliminate chromatic aberration for enhanced colour rendition and increased contrast. This optical performance is coupled with a powerful 10x magnification that allows for detailed observations of distant subjects.
Designed to easily fit in a pocket, pack, or purse, the binocular is made with a dual-hinge system that allows the optical tubes to fold and tuck under the closed bridge to ensure the smallest form factor when fully closed. This also provides a wide interpupillary distance adjustment for easier use by those with narrow faces, like children and adolescents. The optical tubes are O-ring sealed to make the binocular waterproof and submersible to a depth of 5 metres. This makes them a great choice for use in extreme temperatures, humid environments, and wet conditions.
