Really Right Stuff
TVC-24L Carbon Series 2
4-Sec Carbon Fiber Tripod
The TVC-24L from Really Right Stuff is designed to provide users with the desired extra height over the traditional TVC-24 model, rendering it ideal for shooting over crowds, standing in water, or for everyday photography. Its patented carbon fiber weave construction enables it to be lightweight at about 1.68kg whilst capable of supporting up to a very generous 18kg load. Featuring a 4-section design that folds down to a convenient and portable 58.4cm, this tripod can be extended to a maximum height of 167.9cm and lowered to a minimum height of just 9.4cm.
Easy-to-use and fast adjusting twist locks that require only a quarter rotaion to unlock and re-lock each leg section, enables quick set-ups for those spontaneous and fleeting photo opportunities. With each leg attached to the tripod's collar via an offset leg joint, heavy loads are evenly distributed for stability. Aluminium joints and collars help to maintain the tripod's lightweight as well as provide it with wear and corrosion resistance. Additionally, every one of the three leg joints features a ratcheting angle stop that autolocks into place when the legs are being folded downward into "standard" position. The feet of the TVC-24L features a special teardrop shape that keeps the leg sections from the ground, whether the tripod is at its lowest height setting or in unusual angles. Their rubber exterior provides better grip on most surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.
