Manual Hot Shoe Flash

The Juno from Phottix is a single-point, manual-only flash, featuring all the functions and features to make it a capable choice, compatible with a range of camera systems. The Juno is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony (MIS), Pentax, Panasonic, Fuji and Olympus cameras. It offers a guide number of 58m at ISO 100 and the 200mm setting, and full to 1/128th power adjustable in 1/3 steps. A command dial and backlit LCD display make power changes fast and easy.

Many lens types are supported with a zoom range of 20-200mm, as well as a pull-out diffuser that works with lenses as wide as 14mm. Users can reposition the head easily for bounce lighting as the head can tilt from -7 to 90° and can rotate either left or right 180°. The flash will even recycle as fast as 0.1-5 seconds.

Built into the Juno is a Phottix Ares II Flash Trigger. Set up the Juno on-camera in Transmitter Mode to trigger other nearby Juno flashes or compatible Phoenix flash trigger receivers. Set slaved Juno flashes in Receiver mode and have them trigger for a Juno in Transmitter mode, or a Phottix Ares II Transmitter. This Transceiver function brings with it 2.4 GHz, 100m+ range with 16 channels, four groups and Phottix’s Digital ID function for reducing the chances of being fired by other nearby systems. The Juno is also compatible with other Phottix flash trigger systems and has two built-in optical slave modes - a traditional optical slave mode as well as a TTL pre-flash delay mode. It is also compatible with the Sekonic L-478DR-PX meter.

The Juno also features a 1/4”x20 mounting lug, allowing it to mount horizontally to an umbrella adapter or other accessory, as well as a Canon-compatible HV power for external AA battery packs. A stroboscopic mode is present for advanced photography and a PC sync port is present for connection to other systems or for use off-camera. Powered by four AA batteries the Juno also offers a sleep mode to save power.
