The compact Canon EOS MS Mirrorless Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens has the capacity for capturing high-resolution images and full HD 1080p video.

The M3 features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor that is paired with a DIGIC 6 Image Processor with an ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 12800 (expandable to 25600). A 49 phase-detect points, which cover 70% of the horizontal frame and 80% of the vertical frame, contributes to the advanced Hybrid CMOS AF III autofocus system's ability to focus up to 6.1 times faster than the EOS M. Creative Assist enables real-time preview of camera adjustments and allows saving and sharing of chosen settings. If you prefer, take full manual control over the camera's settings using the front dial and exposure compensation dial. Send and share images with ease via the built-in WI-FI and NFC connectivity. The M3 also features a 3.0" 1,040k-dot touchscreen LCD which enables focusing and capturing an image with a single tap on screen. The ClearView II coated touchscreen has a vertical movement range of 180° upwards and 45° downwards for easier composition, and shooting selfies and low-angle shots.

The included EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 29-88mm. Video recording is especially benefitted by the smooth and quiet performing STM stepping AF motor. For sharper images taken on the move, an Optical Image Stabliser compensates for 4 stops of camera shake. The lens employs a 7-blade diaphragm and accepts 52mm filters.
