Rolling Backpack
The grey Lowepro Pro Trekker RLX 450 AW II is designed as a rugged camera backpack with rolling function so that you can securely and comfortably transport your mobile studio while meeting carry-on requirements for most international and US airlines. The telescoping handle extending from its top and a pair of integrated, in-line skate wheels along the bottom enable the bag to be moved easily through different spaces. Split level divider maximises space by allowing items to be stacked on top of each other. Smaller items such as cords, adapters, and other essentials can be organised easily in the included Lowepro Gear Box.
The spacious main compartment of the Pro Trekker RLX 450 AW II can be organised via its adjustable partition system with twelve dividers to fit various gear combination such as a DSLR camera with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, a 600mm f/4 lens, three additional lenses, and a shoe mount. A front-facing panel opens 180° downward to provide you with complete access to the main compartment and also features two zippered organiser pockets on the inside for storing portable batteries, memory cards, hard drives, or other small electronics. The outside of the front panel, on the other hand, features another 180° downward opening to reveal multiple pockets for a 15" laptop, a 10" tablet computer, and a graphics tablet, and other items. These pockets are safely postiioned above the base of the bag to minimise bumps and shocks upon their contents. In addition, a zippered stash pocket on the outside of the front panel is ideal for items you wish to keep handy. Tripod, monopod, or folded apparel can be fastened against the front of the bag via the dual compression straps with convenient side-release buckles. A removable cup to support the base of a larger monopod or tripod is also included. A side pocket makes provision for a water bottle or similarly sized item while a side handle positioned on the user's right provide another mode of carrying and/handling the bag.
The Pro Trekker RLX 450 AW II offers multiple modes of carrying or handling the bag via its aforementioned built-in haul handle and the side handle, or its adjustable shoulder straps. A waistbelt helps to transfer the weight of the bag and its contents on the hips for additional comfort while a built in sternum strap buckles the shoulder straps together for a firmer fit. The waist belt can be detached and should straps stowed away behind the bags's rear panel to ensure the carry-on requirements for most airlines are met and when used as a rolling bag. This robust and weather-resistant backpack features a durable polyester and nylon construction and a seam-sealed cover for use when under heavy rain. Attachment webbings along the backpack's sides and the face of its front panel permits pouches with the Lowepro SlipLock Attachment System to be connected when the rain cover is not in use.
