3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabiliser

The Benro Reddog R2 is a motorised 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabiliser featuring a unique swivel and fold design to enable ultra-smooth footage capture and a small footprint for transportation.

Designed to support a payload of up to 3.8kg, the R2 provides handheld stabilisation for a wide range of commonly used mirrorless and DSLR cameras, including the Canon EOS series, Panasonic GH4/GH5, Sony A7 and A9 cameras, and a multitude of compact cameras that weigh over 700g. A removable quick release plate is supplied to allow for fast switching between recording gear or devices and quick removal for a speedy pack down. The gimbal itself also folds down, rendering it ideal for transportation.

On top of the traditional 'Upright' gimbal mode, the Reddog R2 features a unique swivel design that enables a 'Carry' mode for you to comfortably capture low-angle shots without straining your body. With the angled roll motor at back of the gimbal out of the way of the camera's LCD to allow clear view while shooting, the flexible gimbal offers multi movement modes which are clearly indicated by a multi-coloured LED on the handle - full-follow (pink), full lock (blue), and horizontal follow (red), to meet your shooting needs. Additionally, when a compatible mounted camera and lens is mounted, the gimbal can control the zoom via its four-way control joystick. Extensive control over the gimbal is afford through the easily assessed power button, record button, and a mode switch.

The Reddog R2 utilises two 3200mAh lithium ion batteries to operate up to 12 hours when correctly balanced. Three batteries and a USB charger is supplied for charging the batteries outside of the gimbal. By connecting the versatile gimbal to your mobile device via Bluetooth, you can access the free Benro App for updating firmware, adjusting the motors' intensity, or turning on the roll follow function in the universal follow shooting mode.

Last but not least, a fold-up mini tripod which also dually functions as a handle extension is included. The standard 1/4-inch tripod socket at the its base allows it to be mounted on a monopod or on a boom pole for use as a makeshift jib. Other accessories that are supplied in the box with this gimbal include a lens support bracket, a cable, a USB cable, and a strap.
