Zeiss
21mm f/4.5 C Biogon T* ZM (Black)
Wide angle prime lens for M-mount rangefinder cameras
The black 21mm f/4.5 Biogon T* ZM Lens from Zeiss is a manual focus, wide angle prime lens designed for full integration with TTL-exposure metering. It is compatible with Zeiss Ikon, Leica M, or Voigtlander M-mount rangefinder cameras. The Carl Zeiss range of T* ZM-mount lenses are designed to control geometric distortion, making them a great choice when photographing products or architecture. Compact and lightweight, it is an ideal super wide angle lens for travel and outdoor photography.
8 lens elements in six groups are engineered to eliminate geometric distortions, and the optics are treated with Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings, for enhanced image contrast and clarity. 1/3 stop interval click stops allow for exact exposure. A 10-bladed iris produces smooth bokeh, and it features a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 m.
Please note that this lens is NOT recommended for use with Leica M9 rangefinder digital cameras. The angles of this lens are too steep for the sensor design and it results in a red colour shift at the edge of the frame.
