The Kodak Professional Ekatachrome E100 colour transparency film is daylight-balanced with extremely fine grain structure. It features vibrant colour rendering and overall lower contrast values that contribute to a wide dynamic range and a neutral tonal scale for improved colour accuracy. In addition, a lower D-min enables brighter and whiter whites. When developed in E-6 process, it has a medium-speed nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21°. The marriage between the smooth-grain profile of this film and a micro-structure-optimised T-GRAIN emulsion renders it ideal for scanning applications.
