The Epson SureLab P860 Dry Film Minilab is a desktop photo printer suitable for commercial low to medium volume production when operated as a stand-along machine. Or, for saleable production, multiple printers setup is possible. As part of the Epson® SureLabTM series, this printer is designed for fast and cost-effective
production, producing up to 360 6" x 4" prints per hour in production mode; it can also produce up to 545 prints per hour using cost-saving, roll-based media, which ranges from 3.5" to A4 in size, with a variety of surface finishes that includes Gloss, Lustre, and Matte. A new Event mode enables rapid startup and production suitable for single prints. Thanks to its incorporation of a high precision Epson Micro PiezoTM printhead, accurate and consistent output in resolutions up to 1440x720dpi with Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) for superior half tones, precise colour & density control is enabled, thus benefitting a range of applications including in-house ID and brochure production as well as studio and event photography. Furthermore, the quality of the prints are enhanced by a combination of the upgraded Epson UltraChrome D6r-S 6-colour ink set with a media output heater that achieves prints that exits dry with high depth, vibrant colour, and a durable finish.
This easy-to-operate printer features minimal maintainence, front-loaded consumables with no special handling processes, see-through front mounted paper cut waste bin and 65m roll based media with easy loading and unloading. You can print direct from common photo applications or utilise the optional Epson Order Controller software to further ease production with job costing, image editing, job scheduling and load balancing. Via high speed USB2.0, this ultra-compact, lightweight and low power consumption printer can be directly connected to a PC to be operated on a desk or whilst installed a Kiosk cabinet. An advanced Windows and Macintosh driver with integrated colour control and maintenance support is shipped with this printer.
