A short telephoto prime lens, the AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G from Nikon is a perfect tool for capturing stunning portraits with eye-catching depth of field to isolate your main subject. Its ultra fast f/1.4 maximum aperture makes it well-suited to working in low light conditions, and a rounded 9-blade diaphragm produces natural out-of-focus areas. Designed for use with FX-format DSLR cameras, it can also be used with DX-format cameras where it will provide a 127.5mm equivalent focal length.

Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) and Internal Focus (IF) design makes sure this lens has top-notch ergonomics, and an M/A focus mode switch allows you to quickly change between manual and autofocus.
