Shift Lens
The 35mm f/2.8 PC-Nikkor from Nikon is a perspective correcting lens, designed to correct the distortion caused by horizontal and vertical lines in architectural photography, interiors and landscapes. It is possible to shift the lens barrel of the PC-Nikkor to 11mm off-axis and rotate it a full 360 degrees. Alternatively, when the shift function is not used, it is also a capable wide angle lens for any subject.
Portable and versatile, it offers perspective control that was previously only possible with large view camera systems, at an economical price point. An adjustment screw allows easy shift adjustments. It uses a manual diaphragm to control aperture, and exposure must be manually metered as this lens is not compatible with TTL metering.
