A versatile M-mount lens, the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. from Leica is a wide-angle lens featuring precision optics and engineering. With excellent selective focus in close-range, high contrast and immense depth of field to landscape shots, this lens has a wide range of uses. The bright f/1.4 maximum aperture makes it well-suited to working in low-light conditions and offers greater control over depth of field for selective focus shooting.
An upgrade to its predecessor, it now incorporates a floating element: The aperture blades are constructed as a floating group that changes its position relative to the front lens group during focusing for outstanding imaging performance at closer focusing distances and throughout the focusing range. The optical design also uses one aspherical element to control spherical aberrations and distortion for improved sharpness and clarity.
