Super-wide angle lens

A super-wide angle lens designed for high-speed performance the Summilux-M 21mm f/1.4 ASPH. from Leica is a versatile M-mount prime lens. The bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 benefits working in low-light conditions and allows for shallow depth of field and dramatic effects such as prominent foregrounds and strongly receding backgrounds.

The optical design uses five anomalous partial dispersion and a pair of aspherical elements to suppress chromatic and spherical aberrations for a high degree of sharpness and clarity with well-controlled vignetting and distortion. A floating elements system is also featured to provide consistent image quality throughout the focusing range.
