Wide-angle Lens


A compact prime for M-mount rangefinder cameras, the Leica Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH. is a super wide-angle lens excellent for landscape and architecture photography, street shooting or environmental portraiture. It features an impressive 100° angle of view when mounted on an analogue Leica M model or the M9.

Optical excellence is achieved via eight optical elements, one of which is a double-sided aspherical element to minimise spherical aberrations and distortions for consistently sharp results throughout the aperture range. The aspherical element also contributes to the compact form factor of the lens, and the manual focusing design permits working with subjects as close as 70cm away.

The Leica Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH. Lens comes with a Lens Hood, Lens Hood Cover and Rear Lens Cap.
