The fifth generation X100V from Fujifilm retains the charm of a rangefinder-inspired body design with updated capabilities and ergnomics to provide you with improved ease and freedom to create.

Utilising a well-regarded fourth generation APS-C format 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with a back-illuminated (BSI) design, the X100V provides high-resolution recording that comes with support for DCI/UHD 4K video, a wide native sensitivity range of ISO 160-12800 that supports shooting in difficult lighting conditions, and continuous shooting of up to 11 fps with the mechanical shutter. The employment of randomised pixel array by the X-Trans sensor balances impressive image quality and sharpness with nuanced colours and tonal transitions that mimics the organic nature of film more closely. The sensor also enables a hybrid autofocus system that combine up to 425 selectable detection points that covers nearly the entire sensor area with a contrast-detection system for faster, more intuitive, and more accurate focusing at an almost pitch darkness minimum luminance of -5EV. Moreover, the latest algorithim also improves the perfomance of Face and Eye AF. Incorporation of the Focus Limiter Function can support a smoother shooting experience by limiting the range of focal lengths during autofocusing. An updated X-Processor 4, which features a quad-core CPU, complements the imaging and focusing capabilities to deliver faster and more responsive performance throughout the camera system, including faster read speeds during video recording.

A unique feature of Fujifilm cameras is its Film Simulation modes, which simulates the colour and tonal variations of various films. The X100V offers a total of seventeen versatile modes, including the 'CLASSIC Neg", which simulates colour negative film traditionally chosen for snapshots of day-to-day scenes. The "Eterna" mode records video in subdued colours and rich shadow tones to simulate the colour and tonality of Fujifilm's motion picture film. Included in this model is the "Grain Effect" function to reproduce graininess distinctive in photographs taken with film cameras. The versatile function permits users to adjust the size and strength of the grain.

The X100V's integrated wide-angle Fujinon 23mm f/2 lens features an upgraded optical design, with two aspherical elements to further improve sharpness and clarity by reducing spherical aberrations and distortion. While its 35mm equivalent focal length renders it well-suited in a variety of shooting situations, integrated 50mm and 75mm-equivalent Digital Teleconverter settings offers simulated look of working a longer focal length. Furthermore, the lens is compatible with separately available WCL and TCL teleconverters to expand or reduce the effect of field of view. A minimum focus distance of 10cm allows you to capture close-up subjects. Characterised by a bright f/2 maximum aperture, the lens enables greater control over depth of field and suits working in various lighting conditions. An application of a Super EBC coating helps to suppress lens flare and ghosting to achieve greater contrast and colour fidelity in harsh lighting.

The compact camera body design retains the Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder that offers a 0.52x-magnification optical viewfinder(OVF) and a higher resolution 3.69m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder(EVF). Simply push a dedicated lever on the front of the camera to the preferred viewfinder to make the switch. This latest X100 series premium compact digital camera now comes with a tilting 3.0" 1.62m-dot touchscreen LCD, which allows you to shoot from high and low angles with greater ease. In addition, the ISO dial's collar is redesigned to stay up to permit easier sensitivity setting, rather than having to keep the dial pulled up while turning to the desired sensitivity. The built-in neutral density filter on this model provides up to 4-stops for stills, instead of the 3-stops afforded by its predecessor. Additionally, the durably-built X100V can be weather-sealed when paired with the AR-X100 adapter ring, which comes included with the optional LH-X100 lenshood, and the optional PRF-49 protective filter. Connectivity is improved with the USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 connector which enables in-camera charging and faster data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb per second, as well as doubles up as a headphone output via an adapter. Integrated Bluetooth (Version 4.2) and Wi-Fi connectivity permits wireless data transfer for image sharing with a connected mobile device and remote camera control via the Fujifilm Camera Remote App.

Supplied with the camera are the battery pack, a USB Type-A to USB Type-C Cable, lens cap, hot shoe cover, shoulder strap, metal strap clip, clip attaching tool, and protective cover.
