Powershot G7 X Mark II
Compact point-and-shoot digital camera
The Powershot G7 X Mark II is a compact point-and-shoot digital camera from Canon. Featuring a 20.1MP 1" CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 image processor, it is capable of creating impressive imagery even in low-light with an expanded sensitivity of ISO 25600. Images feature minimal noise and a wide dynamic range. The processor also enables Dual Sensing IS that interprets data from imagery in order to intelligently reduce blur caused by camera shake. Record RAW or JPEG stills at up to 8 fps and Full HD 1080p60 video in the MP4 format with stereo sound.
The lens is versatile 4.2x zoom lens, which provides a 24-100mm equivalent focal length range, covering wide-angle to short-telephoto perspectives. A fast f/1.8-2.8 maximum aperture maintains consistent performance throughout the zoom range and further benefits working in difficult lighting conditions. A Super Spectra Coating has been applied to individual lens elements to noticeably reduce lens flare and ghosting, and a nine-blade diaphragm produces pleasing out of focus areas.
A manual control ring surrounds the lens and offers intuitive control over settings. The ring can be set to have clicked intervals, or de-clicked for smooth, quiet operation. Compose your images from a variety of shooting angles using the large 3.0" 1.04m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD. Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC is also included for wireless sharing to smartphones or tablets, as well as remote camera control from linked mobile devices.
