Galerie Washi Torinoko Paper from Ilford is produced using a specialised Japanese paper-making machine called a Tanmo machine to offer the look and feel of traditional handmade Washi Japanese paper. The Washi base is made in the Echizen area of Japan, which is famous for the production of traditional Japanese paper with a history spanning over 1500 years in paper production. With a fine textured matt surface, and no optical brighteners, it offers a wide colour gamut and consistency suitable for fine art reproduction.
