Standard Prime Lens

The FE 50mm f/1.8 from Sony is a bright lightweight normal length prime lens designed for full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras, however it can also be used with APS-C models where it will provide a 75mm equivalent focal length. With a fast maximum aperture of f/1.8 it performs well when working in low-light conditions and provides extended control over focus placement and depth of field. A rounded seven-blade diaphragm ensures pleasing bokeh in out of focus areas.

Optically it features one aspherical element to control spherical aberrations, and a double-gauss configuration to produce sharp images throughout the aperture range with reduced field curvature. A DC actuator ensures quick precise and quiet autofocus performance suited to both video and stills.
