Micro Four Thirds Mirrorless Camera + Zoom Lens + 2 Batteries
The Panasonic Lumix GX85 is a compact Micro Four Thirds mirrorless digital camera that is intuitive to use and support multimedia usage. The 16MP LIve MOS sensor design omits an optical low-pass filter to achieve increased sharpness and high resolution while affording a sensitivity range of ISO 200-25600 that suits working in a variety of lighting conditions. For still shots, the GX85 has the capacity for continous shooting at up to 10fps with single-shot autofocus, or 6 fps with continuous autofocus, along with up to 40 fps via an electronic shutter function. The support for video recording ranges from UHD 4K recording in 30 and 24 fps frame rates, Full HD 1080p in both MP4 and AVCHD formats, as well as a audio recording via a built-in stereo microphone that features an integrated wind-cut filter for less noise while shooting outdoors. A trio of still shooting modes ride on the 4K video recording capabilities, including the 4K Burst which allows you to mark a chosen frame from video playback to be saved as a single 8MP frame. A 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation aids in minimising the effects of camera shake for sharper images, especially during handheld shooting. The sleek form factor of the GX85 also incorporates both a 2.76m electronic viewfinder, a 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD with vertical tilting for working from high or low angles, and built-in Wifi to facilitate wireless image transferring and remote camera control from connected smartphones or tablets.
The camera body is paired with the versatile Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. zoom lens to provide a 24-64mm equivalent focal length range. The sleek lens features three aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element in its optical design to minimise aberrations and distortions. In addition, a stepping AF motor enables fast, quiet and accurate focusing performance that will benefit both still shooting and video recording.
