X-T10 + 56mm f/1.2 APD Kit (Black)
Mirrorless APS-C Camera Kit
The X-T10 is a mirrorless camera from Fujifilm, with a 16.3 MP APS-C-sized X-Trans CMOS II sensor. Beneath its classic retro styling, it not only features Fujifilm's unique sensor technology, but also versatile autofocus modes, and a Real Time Viewfinder, which features a 2.36m-dot resolution and 0.62x magnification, as well as a Natural Live View setting. With its EXR Processor II, the X-T10 is capable of up to 8 fps continuous shooting and full HD 1080p/60 video recording, as well as an expandable sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200. The X-Trans sensor uses a randomized pixel array in order to avoid the use of a resolution-reducing optical low-pass filter, producing images with the utmost sharpness and clarity.
Direct shutter speed, drive, and exposure compensation dials, as well as a dedicated automatic shooting mode lever, add to the exterior design. Rounding out the feature-set is a sextet of autofocus modes that utilize the Intelligent Hybrid AF system for fast, accurate focusing with precise subject tracking capabilities. There is also a range of shooting modes and features to choose from, including Film Simulation settings that recreate the look of classic Fujifilm films, such as Provia, Astia, and Velvia. In addition to the electronic viewfinder, a large 3.0" 920k-dot LCD monitor allows for live view shooting and image review, and features a tilting design. This is topped off with built-in Wi-Fi, allowing for remote camera control and wireless image sharing via linked smartphones or tablets.
The Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD Lens is short telephoto-length prime lens that provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 85mm, making it ideal for portraiture and other applications where a slightly longer-than-normal perspective and flattening appearance is desired. A fast maximum aperture of f/1.2 and APD (apodizing) filter come together to produce sharp main subjects and even smoother bokeh, giving your photographs an overall three-dimensional quality. This effect is furthered by seven rounded diaphragm blades, to produce circular out-of-focus highlights.
Optically the 56mm APD features 11 elements in 8 groups and includes one aspherical element, two extra-low dispersion elements, and three cemented elements, for a marked reduction in chromatic aberrations, distortions, and colour fringing throughout the aperture range. An HT-EBC multi-layer coating has also been applied to elements to minimise surface reflections, flare, and ghosting.
When used with an X-series camera that features a Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) function, the lens' performance is enhanced to deliver consistent illumination and sharpness throughout the aperture range.
